What a day!

I realized today that I have a ton of work to do, and I love it! I do customer service, organized play, I'm the Clout forum admin, plus R&D and even a bit of marketing. I am not, despite what I may have checked on many previous job applications, a detail oriented person. I have to keep track of all this crap, and I'm not super good at that.

I did have one of those tasks. That one nagging task. The one I didn't want to do so I put it off until all my other tasks were done. You know the one. Well, once I got started on it, I realized it was totally simple, and I finished in about 20 minutes. Booyah!

After nearly a year of unemployment, I started to really get sick of people saying, "these things happen for a reason." I mean, really sick of it. While I don't believe they were precisely right, I have to say that things sure are working out right now.

The rest of my life is a crazy mess, but work is good. I'll take it.

I am a football oracle!

All week, the same thought kept running through my mind. Sean Alexander is going to run for 130 yards and two touchdowns. I was off by a mere 2 yards (he got 132!) Even I can't believe how close my guess was.

Nobody will believe me, of course, because I didn't tell anyone about my prediction. It doesn't really matter anyway.

SEAHAWKS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!

BOOOYAH!!!

TMI

Too Much Information.

The Backstory:
I'm toilet training my boy, Alex, who's long, long overdue. For about a year I've been hearing "He'll do it when he's ready". Oh no, not my kid. He's been ready, and he's not doing it. I must step in...NOW.

The Situation:
On Fridays I work from home while I watch him. This week I've put together the first Clout tournament kits and I must go to the post office and mail them today.

The Dilemma:
Alex has had an accident, and peed all over his shoes (it happens, no big deal.) Unfortunately, he's out of clean socks and dry shoes and I still need to go to the post office. I have to wait, risking not getting the kits shipped if something unexpected happens or I have to put Alex in pee-shoes and go anyway.

For now I wait, and hope the shoes dry quickly.

Like I said. TMI.

Magnetic Poetry from my fridge:

"weak will beauty bitter moment"

I thought I'd find something funny, but this, I think, is better.
